HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN

I have had an extremely specific stroke, I guess! I was humming The Itsy-Bitsy Spider to myself and I tried to do the little hand movement and I couldn't--I have totally forgotten how. I wish I could show you a video of me frantically attempting to make spider fingers while a horrified Realization dawns on my face; it would soon be the #1 video in the world among people who love videos of kittens who have dropped acid. I'm doing it in front of the mirror right now, my high little kitten eyes focus and unfocus, is this the beginning of the end.

Ok Tricia. First close those eyelids over those huge black button pupils. Now listen to these key strokes. We will start with "here is the church" Do you remember this one? If you don't, don't worry. This will rewire your learning disability. Interlace the fingers of each hand together inward so that your fingers are hidden when you bend your hands toward each other. Only your knuckles show. Now lift your index fingers to form a steeple. do the same with the littlest fingers for a more unconventional church. At this point you have recited, "here is the church, here is the steeple." Now flip your laced fingered hands over palms up. Now say,"open the church and see all the people." And then start wiggling your interlaced fingers. That's it. You are ready for the itsy bitsy spider finger pivots. Yes.

Go into the bathroom. Turn on the shower. Seat yourself on the toilet lid. Now close your eyes and listen. Hear that? It's the sound of the rain. It's washing the spider out. Out. Out of the waterspout. Down into the drain. Now hear the rain keep washing it down into the sewer. Now through the wastewater treatment plant and on down into the sea. Awash on the mighty ocean, there is no water spout for the spider to climb. So now you are...at peace. I see that our hour is up. Pay the lady at reception.

Admiral: I...CAN'T...

Jeff, I fell over backwards last night trying to step out of my jeans, so I'm thinking the answer is no.

Don't tell me don't tell me! I like to wallow in this ignorance, plus I'm totally going to film this phenomenon as soon as I figure out my webcam.

This is often the way with true genius. Mozart couldn't tie his shoes until after he was dead!
