I heard tiny doings late last night. My first thought was that the squirrels were reversing their pick-up, but Bandit slept undisturbed, and had they been undertaking a midnight flit, he'd have noticed. I concluded it was a new wind chime, somewhere down the block. Had it been windier, there might have been major doings.
Richard, what a pastoral comment! I fell asleep a little. Ragamuffin, is it supposed to blow my mind so bad? I have literally no idea what I'm looking at.
I was going to explain why this was more than pastoral--why it was tragical-comical-historico-pastoral-epic--centering on the confusion between "doings,' the sound effect, and "do-ings," but I fell asleep while trying to explain. Some things, like orphans in baskets, are best left abandoned.

It's from the "Little Golden BDSM Library"
Reality is far funnier than jokes in this case: it's a TINY DOINGS book!
