Public Art Continues to Be Terrible, Amazing: Part 2

OH MURALS

 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Foreshortening is a disease that affects millions
of children every year. They lose limbs to it
in the sickest way possible. If your children
are painted then THEY ARE AT RISK

What are the two hardest things, in art?
Foreshortening and painting a jean

One day I will have a Tumblr called
Fuck Yeah Jeans Are Hard to Paint
and it'll just be pictures of YA bookcovers
from the 80s and 90s where the artist
failed so hard to paint stonewash
with any realism whatsoever

BUT MAINLY WILL YOU
LOOK AT THAT HAND

I couldn't look away. I tried but I couldn't. Now I'm permanently scarred.

My leg looks just exactly like that hand now so maybe it wasn't a mistake. The jeans however well there's just no turning around on the jeans.

I did not think it was possible to improve you physically but if you now have a delicate roseate ball of toebuds somewhere on your body I might have to change my mind

WHICH IS TO SAY OH MY REBECCA FEEL BETTER I WILL TRY TO HEAL YOU WITH MY MIND

I don't understand that hand. It is frightening. Please, make it stop.

YOU MAKE MY BRAIN BIGGER, MY RAD

Hand cannot be stopped, it will reach out its fleshy fingerbuds toward you and take your breath away
